Morning Express: Back Flow

This flow is especially designed for moving the chi and strengthening the back. Simple movements strung together just so to make you feel like you are yawning for 25 minutes. And of course, 5 minutes of sitting to settle the heart.

Chapasanas

Opening the front of the body may be a surprising anti ageing practice, keeping our spines, hearts and energies young and open. In chapasana we hold the ankle while opening the front of the thigh, and we explore many ways to do that. We start and finish with a gentle meditation to guide our efforts.

Belly Power

Many of us shy away from core work, but I am a true believer of strong belly – kind heart – peaceful mind trio. This is a bit of a creative sequence, with lots of movements you know, meant to leave you feeling powerful, happy and calm.  The few stretches at the end help too.

Suzee Grilleys “Twisting the Dragon”

In this little sequence we focus a lot on all the movements of the spine, and working on the muscles and fascia around the torso. A sweet moving sequence which is perfect to combine in any movement sequence or with the other “Suzee G’s” sequences.

Morning Express: Front & Back

We start on the floor as (almost) always and build up to a gentle flow focusing on the front and the back of the body, with nourishment and structure. We finish with a meditation awakening sushumna, the energy channel that rises from the tail bone towards the top of the head.
