Classes
From Yang to Yin and Back
A Balancing Act
This class challenges body and mind to stay calm and focused in all kinds of different situations. The poses themselves are not so difficult, but we work intensely on coordination and balance. This class helps develop determination and purpose, and leaves you incredibly centred, even when you wobble 🙂
Ashtavakra, the story behind the pose
We start with the story about Asthavakra. The sage who was born with eight different deformities of the body, and who was so intelligent that he saved his father and grandfather in a philosophical debate. We build this class up to the actual pose: Ashtavakrasana. Know that you never have to preform the pose, however […]
Short, sweet and very intense
In this short and very intense class we combine cardiovascular exercises from other disiplines with our yoga poses. We will do: planking, military pushups, mountain climbers and (modified) burpees. All to raise your hartbeat and to let you sweat! You’ll probably need a towel, and yes, drink loads of water after class! Enjoy!

We progress slowly through some gentle poses that stimulate the whole body into an open, awakened state. A short meditation at […]
The Non-Aggression Issue
In this talk we start to explore some of the concepts outlined by Patanjali in his sutras. The most famous of his concepts, the Eight Limbs of Yoga, starts with an incredibly complex issue: non-aggression. We talk about different ways of looking at it, and finish with an invitation to self examination and observation.
Morning Express: Offer & Bow
This is one of my favourites, a complete body and intention practice, opening both the front and the back of the body, especially nice for days when you are short on time but need to open and energise everything. The most challenging part of the class is the coordination between front and back of mat, […]

Skeletal Variation 102: The Pelvis
Continuing our exploration of anatomy and of how our bones are shaped, we look into the pelvis. The shape and mobility of our pelvis is going to be very determining for how we move, and its position will make a huge difference when we perform a posture.
