Bija Mantras, or seed mantras, are uplifting, easy and beautiful. We have learned them from our teachers Paul and Suzee Grilley and practice it often ourselves and with our Teacher Training students. By repeating a one-syllable mantra while focusing on a specific spot along our spine, we move and harmonize the energy circulating within us, and experience a wonderful sense of connection and joy.
When the Covid-19 pandemic turned our lives upside down, we were looking for a way to bring some joy and uplift the spirits of our community and thought immediately of creating an opportunity for chanting these mantras together. Our first session was on April 1st, and it was so delicious we repeated it on May 1st. It quickly became a tradition, and we are expanding our community by inviting our friends and colleagues to lead the chanting as well.
